Abel has been in the public accounting arena since 1996. He has worked extensively with various small-, medium-, and large-sized business entities both local and out of state. He is a fluent Spanish speaker, writer, and interpreter. He continues to work with various clients including Mid-Eastern and foreign business owners and CEO’s.
He enjoys working with clients in the areas of business and personal financial planning. Moreover, he enjoys putting an emphasis on internal accounting system controls, accounting and financial reporting, income tax avoidance planning, and educating taxpayers about tax compliance issues where he speaks at local educational seminars.
He is currently a Partner in the Taxation Department of Moore Grider & Company CPA’s and been with firm since 2005. His expertise covers Taxation for the following types of entities: Individual, Corporation, Subchapter “S” Corporation, Partnership, Limited Liability Company, Tax Exempt Organization, and Fiduciary. In addition, he is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor for the past 20+ years while working with various versions of QuickBooks Accounting Software.
He earned his way through college at California State University, Fresno, and graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Accountancy Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration. Abel acquired much experience while working at other local public accounting firms where he obtained experience in the taxation field. He is licensed as an Enrolled Agent (E.A.) with the Internal Revenue Service.
