acabelloAbel has been in the public accounting arena since 1996.  Abel has worked extensively with various small, medium, and large sized businesses entities locally and out of state.  He is a fluent Spanish speaker and writer.  He enjoys working with clients in the areas of business and personal financial planning.  Moreover, he enjoys putting an emphasis on internal accounting system controls, accounting and financial reporting, income tax avoidance planning, and educating taxpayers about tax compliance issues where he speaks at local educational seminars.

He is currently a Senior Staff Accountant in the Taxation Department of Moore Grider & Company since 2005.  His expertise covers Taxation for the following types of entities: Individual, Corporation, Subchapter “S” Corporation, Partnership, Limited Liability Company, Tax Exempt Organization, and Fiduciary.  In addition, he is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor for past 12 years while working with various versions of QuickBooks Accounting Software.

He earned his way through college at California State University, Fresno and graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Accountancy Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration. Abel acquired much experience while working at other local public accounting firms where he obtained experience in the taxation field.  He is licensed as an Enrolled Agent (E.A.) with the Internal Revenue Service.  He is currently a CPA candidate.

Abel’s greatest professional achievement is the rapport he has established and maintained with his clientele.  They depend on him and he thrives on exceeding their expectations.  He is very involved with a local church where he serves as an assistant sports coach to the youth and other ministries.  Additionally, he has served as a volunteer board member with various non-profit organizations as a form of community service.  He greatly enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family.  He and his wife, Jamie, have a total of four children and two dogs.
