Employee Benefit Plans

The Moore Grider & Company Pension Department staff is educated and trained in the specialized area of retirement benefits administration and audits of large company retirement plans.

A major portion of the Pension Department Staff’s continuing education is concentrated in the retirement audit, compliance and administration areas. We have over thirty years of combined experience in auditing, accounting, correction and administration of 401(k), pension, profit sharing, 403(b), ESOP and cafeteria plans.

We can assist Employers in solving compliance, operational, or reporting issues with their retirement plan using one of the IRS or DOL approved voluntary correction programs.

Our department uses SunGard’s Relius Administration software for retirement plan record keeping and non-discrimination testing.  We also subscribe to SunGard’s online plan document, government forms, and library services.  These services along with our continuing education provide us with current and upcoming legislation that may affect our client’s employee benefit plans.

We regularly attend employee benefit meetings and conferences. We are members of the National Institute of Pension Administrations, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of C.P.A.’s.
